The office of University Information Technology (University IT) provides technical support services (including Web site support and networking/telecommunications) generally for the University community, with dedicated support to College students, faculty, and staff for e-mail, desktop operating system and application support, and instructional computing.
The Information Systems Division (intranet access only) is an online resource for the information technology needs of Medical Center faculty, staff, and students. The Miner Library maintains e-mail accounts for all students affiliated with the Medical Center and provides access to its extensive digital collections. Web Services offers support for Web developers at the Medical Center, including template guidelines and Adobe Contribute support.
The Center for Integrated Research Computing (CIRC) provides researchers across the University with technology, software, training, and support necessary to fully utilize computing technologies in their research. Established in 2008, the CIRC assists in research efforts in disciplines spanning all areas of academic scholarship.
The School of Engineering Computing and Networking Group (CNG) provides user consultation, documentation on the local computing environment, and help with technology problems.
The Technology and Media Production (T & MP) Department's mission is to meet the needs of the Eastman School community in providing exceptional technical skill and professional quality service, in the following areas: audio recording, computing services, and classroom technology.
Warner School Information Technology Services offers desktop and laptop support for members of the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Available help includes: software installation, troubleshooting computer problems, pre-purchase consulting and technology purchases, virus protection, and peripheral and printer installation.

The mission of the Office of the VP for IT/CIO is to foster a coordinated environment where information technology is tightly aligned with the University mission.
The IT Governance Council was formed to support strategic planning in information technology across the university. Members meet regularly to share long-range initiatives and provide support for university IT policies.
IT Campus Leaders from across the University meet to share information, develop recommendations and proposals, and support collaborations.
